Arc de Triomphe

This turned out to be the day of the arch. The construction of the arch at the top of the boundary between the foyer and the great room. The arch dates back to ancient roman architecture. I didn't get a lot done today, between trips to Home Depot and trying to figure out the dimensions and layout of the columns and arch in the foyer. I wound up settling on an arch that is simply part of a circle.....with a radius of 15'.....no parabolas or anything fancy.
